Committee changes:

Sarah has decided to resign from her position as secretary due to personal family commitments.

Katrina Preston has agreed to take over this with the support of Jo McLellan.

Feedback from Ali re- conference was discussed: see financial report /summary for details. We agreed this should be made visible on the website for members. With a current total of £792 in the bank. Retaining and recruiting new HFSA members.

Conference:

Our conference last year was considered by everyone we’ve heard from to be a great success and we have plans in place to repeat the event this year with another exciting conference in the Autumn.

Last year’s conference resulted in:

• £154 surplus.
• 6 new HFSA members.

This year:

• A repeat performance in November 2018: PLAY for health and wellbeing.
• Key Speaker for 2018 conference.
• To use an Online booking system.

Our next meetings are as follows:

• March 5th – Meeting @ Queenswood: 4:30-6:30
• April 30th – CPD session. Letterboxing @ Queenswood: 4:30-6:30
• May 21st – Meeting @ Widemarsh Children’s Centre, Hereford 4:30-6:30
• June 30th – Full day Moot with WildPlay and Back to the Wild @ Hellens, Much Marcle
• Sept 10th – Meeting @ TBC: 4:30-6:30
• Nov 10th or 17th – Conference 2018 @ Hellens

 

Action points

1. We agreed we needed to make more use of the FSA website for promotion.
2. Start using the online basecamp online forum – a virtual campfire chat.
3. Supporting Sam who has lead on skype meetings with FSA in 2017 – the committee need to share this through the year.
4. Membership renewals – reminders to be sent.
5. Send out emails to those that attended conference to promote membership.
6. M will chase people she knows on the list to remind them.
7. Shout out to members able to attend Rob’s bee day – circulate poster.
8. Katrina to find the Wish Tree feedback from the conference.
